The aim of the project is to optimise ongoing design considerations regarding passenger flow, passenger changeover time and optimal utilisation during the design phase of new suburban trains.

Project description: Conceptual considerations for new suburban trains are continuously reviewed and optimised during the concept phase with regard to passenger flow, passenger changeover time, luggage storage capacity and optimal utilisation. The optimisations specifically include issues such as accessibility, increased luggage volumes to airports, and the transport of bicycles and prams.
